1. Who We Are

WASM Chauffeur Service operates a chauffeur booking and mobility platform in Saudi Arabia, including the public website, customer accounts, booking flows, operational portals, and payment-related communications.

This policy covers personal data we process when you browse the site, create an account, request a quote, make or manage a booking, use maps or location tools, contact support, or submit documents and media through driver, vendor, or admin workflows.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account and identity data such as full name, email address, phone number, role, verification status, and profile information.
  • Booking and travel data such as pickup and drop-off locations, dates, passenger counts, alternate passenger details, notes, and special trip requirements.
  • Payment and billing data such as booking totals, payment status, invoices, transaction references, order identifiers, and operational responses from payment providers.
  • Verification and security data such as email and phone verification events, session records, IP addresses, device identifiers, refresh tokens, and login security signals.
  • Location data such as addresses you search for or select and coordinates you submit or allow from your device.
  • Communication data such as support requests, emails, WhatsApp verification messages, booking updates, and notification tokens.
  • Uploaded files such as profile photos, vehicle registration documents, company files, licenses, identification images, and other operational media.

3. How We Use Personal Data

  • To create and manage accounts and verify ownership of email addresses and phone numbers.
  • To provide quotes, confirm bookings, coordinate drivers and vehicles, and manage changes, cancellations, and refunds.
  • To initiate payments, verify payment status, and work with approved payment providers.
  • To send confirmations, security messages, operational updates, account recovery messages, and customer support responses.
  • To run map, geolocation, routing, and pickup/drop-off planning features.
  • To detect misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and security issues and to improve internal controls.
  • To comply with contractual, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations and maintain business records.

  • With media hosting services such as Cloudinary when images or documents are uploaded to the platform.

  • With courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorities when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or platform integrity.

6. Data Retention

We keep account, booking, and payment records for as long as needed to provide services, manage the customer relationship, resolve disputes, comply with accounting and tax duties, and satisfy operational or legal requirements.

If you request account deletion from inside the platform, active sessions and notification tokens are removed and the core user profile is anonymized, while a limited deletion record and any data we must retain for legal, financial, security, or fraud-prevention reasons may be kept.

7. How We Protect Data

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, but no electronic system can be guaranteed to be risk-free in every circumstance.

  • Authenticated session controls, role-based access, and account-level security checks.
  • Server-side security headers, session management, and monitoring of certain risk signals such as device or IP changes.
  • Need-to-know internal access for operations, finance, support, and administration.
  • Use of service providers and infrastructure needed to run the platform in practice.

Privacy FAQs

Do you store my bank card details?

Payments are processed through the provider selected at checkout. In most cases, we receive transaction status and reference information needed to confirm and reconcile the booking rather than storing full payment card details inside the app.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. The platform includes an account deletion flow in the profile area. When used, active sessions and notification tokens are removed and the main user profile is anonymized, while limited records may be retained where required.

Do you use live location?

Location data is used when you search for an address, choose a map point, or let your browser share your location to improve pickup or routing. Live location should only be used when the related feature is active.

How do I request a correction or a copy of my data?

You can update some profile information directly in your account, or email info@wasamchauffeur.com or booking@wasamchauffeur.com with your request and enough information for us to verify it.
